Our home county. We've served Minneapolis and its western suburbs since 1914 — longer than most of the cities around us have existed in their current form. Same-day availability is most common here.
We serve the full Wright County area — from Delano through St. Michael, Buffalo, and beyond. Growing communities where good local service is harder to find. We're happy to make the drive.
Carver County's western Hennepin communities — Chaska, Chanhassen, Victoria, and the lake communities along the Minnesota River corridor. Custom window treatments for upscale homes in a beautiful setting.
We extend south and west into McLeod County — including Hutchinson and surrounding communities. Call ahead for scheduling, as we coordinate these visits to make the most of the trip.

Our service area isn't a hard boundary. If you're close to any of our counties and want custom window treatments installed by a Master Installer, we'd rather talk to you than lose you to a big-box store. Call us and we'll work it out.

Do you charge for in-home consultations or travel?
No — in-home consultations are completely free, and we don't charge travel fees within our standard service area (Hennepin, Wright, Carver, and McLeod Counties). We come to you, measure, bring samples, and give you a detailed quote at no cost and with no obligation.
I'm in a suburb not listed here — do you still serve me?
Possibly. Our listed cities are the communities we serve most regularly, but our service area is flexible, especially for communities adjacent to Hennepin, Wright, Carver, or McLeod Counties. How far in advance do I need to book a consultation?
Within our core Hennepin County service area, we can often schedule a consultation within a few days. Wright, Carver, and McLeod County visits are typically scheduled a week or so out, as we batch visits to those areas. Call (612) 922-4100 or use our contact form to check current availability.
Can I visit the showroom before scheduling an in-home consultation?
Absolutely. Our St. Louis Park showroom at 3550 Dakota Ave S is open Monday through Friday, 9am–12noon. You can see the full Hunter Douglas line, including the exclusive Alustra Collection, touch the fabrics, and get a feel for the products before committing to an in-home visit. No appointment needed during showroom hours.
Do you offer repair service throughout your full service area?
Yes — repair service is available across our full service area. If you have Hunter Douglas, Alta, Insolroll, or most other brands that need service, call us at (612) 922-4100 to describe the issue. We'll let you know if it's something we can repair, and we'll schedule a service visit to your home.
I'm in the Twin Cities but on the east side — do you serve St. Paul or the east metro?
Our service area is primarily concentrated in Minneapolis and the western suburbs. We don't currently have regular routes into St. Paul or the eastern metro communities like Woodbury, Stillwater, or Eagan. For those areas, we'd recommend contacting Hunter Douglas directly at hunterdouglas.com to find an authorized dealer closer to you.
